Hmm, why does everyone say that paladins are lawful good? A paladin is suppose to be for the people, always do what's best for the people, and go by their moral code. That's more neutral good than a lawful good chara, whom would always do everything for their leader.
I'm going to have to disagree with... 2/3 of these. Illidan isn't evil at ALL, he did everything for his people with the best of intentions. I suppose in Knaak's crap he was a little selfish, but that'd be Neutral Evil if ANYTHING. Arthas is absolutely Lawful evil. Sylvanas is by NO means anything good. That quote is pretty damn evil actually, and so is she. She cares about herself and revenge more than anything else, and is willing to slaughter innocents to increase her own people (minions). I question Rexxar, and well, any orc of Warcraft really, being Lawful. Loyalty isn't Law. I can't even figure out where you got Zul'jin. Goblins are more Chaotic Neutral, switching sides as it suits them.
This is great! I was also a bit unsure about Illidan and Arthas but your comment makes sense, Illidan "feels what he is doing is the right course of action and wants to uphold it no matter what. While Arthas knows he's gone too far yet he doesn't care if he ever goes back."
The ONLY one i disagree with is Sylvanas, sure shes good, but i think Uther is chaotic good, he follows the path of the paladin, striving for purity, and to cleanse the world of evil, he follows the concept to a T till the day he died, as opposed to sylvanus who changed entirely after death, save for the compation you mentioned.
I have argued this point about the races in particular with a few people, orcs are neutral good, humans neutral good tauren are lawful good, undead lawful evil, trolls (true)neutral, blood elves evil, gnomes and dwarves neutral good, Night elves Chaotic Neutral, Dreanai Lawful good, well at least thats how i see it.
And my uncles arguement that the orcs are evil because the humans say so is beyond stupid, some orcs think the humans are evil, think on that!
Yes, I can. She was originally a high elf ranger general. She stills shows that compassion of her current people, whether it be Elves or Undead. So, yes, I feel she's good. Her lust for vengeance corrupts her, though, so she isn't pure.
Technically I would put her at more Lawful Evil. Her status as a Horde Leader (as much as she'd try and avoid using that title) and her being bigger on Vengeance against the living is not exactly Chaotic nor Good.
I don't even know if I'd classify her as that. She was using the Horde in order to kill Arthas. She hates the living equally. But with the position Putress' betrayal has put her people in, she hasn't really had a chance to show her hand...
Yeah, I was having a mind-war with those two. I guess I chose Illidan to be lawful evil because he feels what he is doing is the right course of action and wants to uphold it no matter what. While Arthas knows he's gone too far yet he doesn't care if he ever goes back.
